Once your brief is complete and payment has cleared, most customers see a fully branded first build within a few hours. Our commitment is no later than 2 business days. "Hours" means hours to your first preview, not to a launched site. You still get 2 revision rounds before launch, and each round is turned around within 2 business days.
What exactly is a revision round?
One revision round is one written list of changes you send us at a time, which we apply together and return as an updated preview. Every package includes exactly 2 rounds. Put everything you want changed into each round so nothing is left out.
What if I need more than two rounds?
Two rounds are included and no more. If you need another, you can buy an extra round for $249 from your dashboard. Most customers approve after one or two.
Why is the Hosting + SEO plan required?
Every Acricom site runs on its own dedicated DigitalOcean server that we manage. That is how we keep it fast, secure and backed up, and it is what lets us work on your search rankings every month. The plan covers the server, SSL, backups, uptime monitoring and ongoing SEO management.
Do I own my website?
You own your domain, your content, your logo and your brand assets. While your plan is active we host and maintain the site. If you cancel, we will hand over a static export of your pages and your brand files.
Can I use a domain I already own?
Yes. Tell us the domain in your brief. We will walk you through pointing it at your new server, or we can manage the DNS for you.
What if I do not have a logo?
Choose "Design one for me" in your brief, and we will design a logo along with your colors and type. If you only need a logo, it is available on its own as an add-on.
Can I start from one of your demos and change it?
Yes. The demos are starting points. We rebuild the chosen design around your brand, your colors, your pages and your copy. You can also skip the gallery and describe the design you want.
What is your refund policy?
If you cancel before your first preview is delivered, we refund the build fee in full. After the preview and before you approve, we refund 50% of the build fee. Once you approve the site for launch, the build fee is non-refundable. The monthly plan can be cancelled any time and runs to the end of the paid month.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. The Hosting + SEO plan is month to month. Search results build over months, so we recommend giving SEO at least six months, but you are never locked in.
